  • Painted her face: eyes and very pale pink on mouth and I pencilled some eyebrows. I tried other faces but this is the only one she is prepared to wear at the moment. She obviously likes to keep her cards close to her chest when it comes to facial expression.

  • Nearly ready. Her dress is wired with very thin copper wire in the hem so that the dress too can be posed. I need to add detail to face and decide what to do about shoes … if anything.

  • Making a new puppet. Thinking of stopmotion again. The clay for the hands is a new rubber/polymer compound called Cosclay Doll – and it’s flexible! (Providing the puppet is wired first of course.) Just what I need. PS. I seemed to get lost with the drawing thing (see previous posts).
