Nearly ready. Her dress is wired with very thin copper wire in the hem so that the dress too can be posed. I need to add detail to face and decide what to do about shoes … if anything.
Making a new puppet. Thinking of stopmotion again. The clay for the hands is a new rubber/polymer compound called Cosclay Doll – and it’s flexible! (Providing the puppet is wired first of course.)
Just what I need.
PS. I seemed to get lost with the drawing thing (see previous posts).
I just couldn’t make myself end this story with Inktober 2020’s 31st prompt “Crawl”. Although maybe Mavis’s hand is doing a bit of a crawl. And you might think she should. Neither have I managed a good piece of text with the word crawl in it. So I’m not writing one. Let’s just say: The End.
So here we are. Mavis is the love of Thad’s life. Yet the very fire that drew him to her also led her to the wrong conclusion when she found Coral’s itty-bitty lace handkerchief. For Thad and Mavis the future is ominous. Because, for now, all that Thaddeus is willing to do is to track down Coral’s killer.
Inktober 2020: 30 – Ominous
From the tips of her sassy shoes to the top of her lynxy ears, Thad knew that Mavis was the only woman for him.
