The Unique Blogger Award Nomination

2016-07-19 (2)

“I’ve been nominated for a Unique Blogger Award by Dernhelm .”  Dernhelm? “Yes … he posts daily drawings, concise, his imagination. I visit his blog every day.” Good Heavens. “So … this nomination, for which I am most grateful …” It’s nice to be noticed, isn’t it dear. “Absolutely, Mum … so this nomination means that I am supposed to … answer three questions. Ahem …

  1. If you could describe your blog in one word, what would the word be? Erm … Conflicted.
  2. What do you do in your free time besides blogging?  I try to teach myself to animate; I read, cook, nag, worry and listen to music.
  3. Do you read books? Any favourite genre(s)?   I read and review crime fiction (for another website). I like books set or written somewhere else, books in translation, sometimes fantasy, speculative fiction if I really want to get away from it all. I do all my travelling in books or film …”

Yes, you like books don’t you,dear. You take after me of course.  “Now, I am supposed to nominate other bloggers for the award.” Is this what they call a chain letter, dear? “I don’t know. Perhaps. The rules are:

  • To share the link of the blogger who has shown love to you by nominating you;
  • to answer their three questions;
  • in the spirit of sharing love and solidarity with our blogging family, to nominate 8-13 people for the same award;
  • to ask them 3 questions…

… Do you know?” What, dear? “I think I shall simply invite my readers to visit some of the great blogs I follow including Dernhelm’s. (And I follow some that he has awarded The Unique Blogger Award to – but  I can’t go round in more circles than I do already.) Oh Whoops! I just broke the rules. Sorry, never ask an old woman to join in.”
