“Well I started my 100 Heads. I am a woman of some age who has never really managed light and shadow. My first love is a quite sparse but definite line. I also know that I am not going to manage 100 heads in 10 days. I will post some pen and ink drawings over the next week or so. Think of it as … quite a lot of heads in two or three weeks!”

What are you wiggling your fingers for?
“Exercising. Limbering up for drawing. I’m thinking of doing another challenge: Ahmed Aldoori’s – 100 Heads in 10 Days.”
Is that why you made a Pinterest board full of photo portraits? “You’ve been spying on me.” I am your long-dead mother, part of you and therefore know everything that you do, dear.
“Wonderful. Also a little creepy and embarassing.”
“It’s my Ned Kelly painting.”
It’s got a dress and curly hair. “I know”.
“Merry Christmas, Mum.”
Yes dear and Merry Christmas to everyone.
“Merry Christmas to everyone … and Peace please.”
“I’m feeling very short-tempered.”
I know. I can see that. Plain as a pikestaff. Look at that gif thing you just made!
Are you going to make another animation gift loop thing then?
“If I can finish in time I’m going to have a go at the current “LoopdeLoop” challenge … Shoes.”
Shoes? Well now you’re talking. I could go on forever about Shoes.
“Remember I thought I broke the Interwebs with my animation?”
I’m not speaking to you. You were very rude to me in that last post.
“I only said that what you said about ink not mattering was stupid. Not that YOU are stupid.” You called me stupid. “I didn’t Mum. Look … I just want to tell you that I didn’t break the Interwebs.
My animation is up on the LoopdeLoop site for the Fear theme.”
No more Queenie drawings? “No Mum. Inktober 2018’s over now. It’s quite tiring you know.”
But you cheated on that last one, didn’t you. You said you would use that Kuretake brush pen for every drawing …
… And I saw you use a dip pen for that last one, the Pirate. “Oh that. The ink that came with the pen ran out and the bottle I bought as a refill just wasn’t the same … I couldn’t draw with it. “Well I just call that being fussy. If you were a proper artist it wouldn’t matter what the ink was like.
“Mum. I am just going to say this out loud this time. That is a really stupid thing to say.”
